Spoiler-Heavy Summary: Kronk is a fictional character from the Disney animated feature The Emperor's New Groove and show The Emperor's New School. He also starred in his own film, Kronk's New Groove. In both films and the show, Kronk is voiced by Patrick Warburton.

In The Emperor's New Groove, Kronk was Yzma's henchman (and, perhaps, her boyfriend), and helped her turn Kuzco into a llama. He almost threw Kuzco over a waterfall, but due to an attack of doubt dropped him on Pacha's cart. At first willingly pretending that Kuzco was dead, he helped Yzma take over the kingdom and ruled as her assistant. Eventually, his sheer guilibility resulted in the truth coming out, then he helped Yzma find Kuzco. Along the way, Kronk reveals a talent for speaking squirrel and as both a foodie and a fry cook. When Pacha and Kuzco return to the palace to transform Kuzco back to human form, Kronk and Yzma finally catch up with them. Yzma berates Kronk for his mental slowness, resulting in Kronk developing a change of heart, and unwittingly saving the day for Kuzco and Pacha. At the end of the film, we learn that Kronk has become the leader of the Junior Chipmunks troop which includes a now-in-cat form Yzma and both of Pacha's kids.

In "Kronk's New Groove", Kronk has become a respected member of Pacha's village. He is head chef and delivery boy at Mudka's Meat Hut and is good friends with Pacha's elderly neighbors. As we re-meet him, he's been blasted out of Mudka's by an explosion of cheese fondue. He's been fretting over the upcoming visit of his father, "Papi", who always disapproved of young Kronk's culinary interests and wished that Kronk instead would settle down with a wife and in a large house. The movie is told by Kronk through flashbacks, a he sadly recalls that he nearly had both. In regards to the house, Yzma had transformed herself back into a woman and tricked him into helping her with a fake "youth potion" to con money out of elderly villagers. They gave him much of their money and nearly gave him their retirement home - the biggest house in the village - but Kronk realizes the potion's fake and is unable to with good faith accept their offer. In regard to the wife, he recalls taking his squad of Junior Chipmunks to camp (Camp Chippamunka), where he meets the aquaintance of fellow councilor Miss Birdwell. They fall in love despite initially clashing, and Kronk's "can-do" spirit of competiton mistakingly influences Yupi to cheat in one of the competitons. He protects Yupi and alienates Miss Birdwell.

Back in the present, Kronk is very panicked about Papi's visit. Word gets around the village that Kronk needs a proxy wife and children to impress his father. Initially planning to use Pacha as "Pachita" and Pacha and Chica's children as his own, Chica steps in as Kronk's wife. The scheme nearly works until much of the village shows up and claims to be related to Kronk.

When Kronk explains to his father how his life's become such a mess, his Papi understands that the scope of his life and the friendships his son has made are more important than riches. Kronk finally gets his Papi's thumbs-up, and Miss Birdwell and he patch things up and apparently marry.

In "The Emperor's New School", he is Yzma's henchman again and also Kuzco's classmate. He gives Kuzco lots of potions and is his best friend (or as good a friend one can be when he's the villain's henchman). As a running gag, he can never remember that Principal Amzy is really Yzma, and as a result, usually thinks he is in trouble when Yzma calls for him. The show deinately takes place after the first movie, but there's reasonable doubt that it takes place after the second film.

Characteristics and the shoulder angel and devil: Kronk has a devil and angel who appear on his shoulder whenever he has a change of heart or needs to puzzle something out. They look like Kronks dressed in angel and devil costumes. They always fight. The angel and devil Kronk have also appeared on Kuzco's shoulders during a moral dilemna (according to them, they're freelancers).

Kronk loves to sing his own personal theme songs as he does stuff, much to the annoyance of anyone nearby. He is also a great cook who can make spinach puffs and fondue, and also has a secret recipe for foie gras.

He is capable of incredible superhuman athetics, such as running from the school to his house and back in mere seconds, climbing a mountain (While having a seat with Yzma riding tied to his body), and so on. It comes from the fact Kronk comes from a family of atheletic buffs.

Due to further mix-ups with Yzma's potions during the series, Kronk has been an octopus, a Llama, a Gorrilla, a Giraffe, a Giant Tooth, and a Chipmunk.
